Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-11-03
Elite AI Holdings LLC ("we", "us") operates Clipwright at clipwright.eliteaiempire.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights. We sell online only; this policy is our notice at collection.
What we collect
- Account details — the email address you sign up or log in with, an internal account identifier, your sign-up and last-login times, your plan, and an API key identifier if you use programmatic access. Waitlist entries (email, optional name and use-case note) if you joined the waitlist.
- Source video and derived files — the video you upload or identify, its transcript, and the clips produced from it.
- Rights records — the ownership attestation you tick at upload, the grants you register (including licence documents and programme briefs you upload, and a hash of each), and every rights decision (allow or refuse) with a timestamp and the source identifier.
- Security and operational logs — the IP address and email address on each login-link request, and service logs of jobs and errors.
- Usage analytics — page views and sign-up events counted by a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Plausible); it does not build a profile of you.
- Billing — when paid plans are live, your plan, payment status and the billing details our payment processor (Stripe) returns. Card numbers go to Stripe directly; we never see or store them.
- TikTok data — only if you connect a TikTok account; see "TikTok integration" below.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by US state privacy laws, other than the account access tokens described under "TikTok integration", which we use only to provide the feature you asked for.
Why
To create and secure your account, run the clipping service you ask for, prove which grant authorised which clip if a rights holder asks, prevent abuse, bill you once paid plans are live, count sign-ups, and email you about your account or the waitlist. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use your source video or transcripts to train AI models.
Who receives it
Only service providers acting for us under contract, and only what each needs:
- Brevo — to send login links and account email (your email address).
- Groq — short excerpts of a transcript, to help rank which moments make the best clips. No video, audio or account details are sent.
- Stripe — payment processing, once paid plans are live.
- Cloudflare — network delivery and security for clipwright.eliteaiempire.com, which passes web traffic (including IP addresses) through its network.
- TikTok — the clip and settings you confirm, only when you post to TikTok.
The service itself runs on servers we operate. We otherwise disclose personal information only where the law requires it, or to a buyer of the business under the same commitments as this policy.
Retention
- Uploaded source video is deleted automatically 7 days after upload, or sooner if shared storage runs short (oldest first).
- Rendered clips and transcripts are kept while your account is open, and deleted on request.
- Account details are kept while your account is open, and deleted on request.
- Rights decisions, attestations and grant hashes are kept as long as the clips they authorised may circulate, because that is the record that protects both you and the rights holder.
- Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them.
- Security logs are kept only as long as needed to investigate abuse.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, give you a copy in a portable format, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw consent to waitlist email at any time. We will not charge you more, give you a worse service, or refuse you service for exercising these rights. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your supervisory authority.
US state privacy notice
This section applies to residents of California and the other US states with consumer privacy laws (for example Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Virginia).
- Categories collected in the last 12 months — identifiers (email address, account identifier, IP address); commercial information (plan and billing status); internet activity (log and analytics events); audio and visual information (video you upload and clips made from it); and account access credentials for TikTok, if you connect it. Sources: you, your device, and TikTok if you connect it. Purposes and recipients: as described above.
- No sale, no sharing, no targeted advertising, no profiling — we have not sold or shared personal information, used it for targeted advertising, or used it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, in the last 12 months, and we do not do so for anyone of any age. We honour Global Privacy Control browser signals as an opt-out request anyway.
- How to make a request — email privacy@eliteaiempire.com with the request (access, copy, correction or deletion). We verify it by confirming with the email address on your account. An authorised agent may act for you with your signed permission; we may still confirm with you directly. We respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need up to 45 more.
- Appeals — if we decline a request, reply to our answer with "Appeal" within 45 days. We will decide within 45 days and explain why; if you remain unhappy you may contact your state attorney general.
TikTok integration
If you connect a TikTok account to Clipwright ("Connect TikTok"), this section explains what we receive from TikTok, why, and how it is handled. It supplements, and does not replace, the rest of this Privacy Policy.
What we receive
- Login Kit — your TikTok
open_id, the permissions you granted, and an access token and refresh token scoped to those permissions (user.info.basic,video.publishto post your own clips to your own account, andvideo.uploadto send a clip to your own TikTok inbox as a draft). While you are connected, the dashboard also fetches your TikTok display name and avatar from TikTok each time it shows the connection, so you can see which account is connected; we do not store them. We do not receive your TikTok password. - Content Posting API — at the moment you open the per-post screen, the creator information TikTok returns for it (nickname, avatar, posting-privacy options, duet/comment/stitch settings, maximum video length); and, for each clip you post or send as a draft, the publish ID TikTok issues and the status we check to show you (processing, sent to your TikTok inbox, published, failed).
We do not read your TikTok inbox, contacts, follower list or any video already on your account, and we do not receive anything about your TikTok account beyond what the two APIs above return for the connect step and the post you explicitly submit.
Why
Solely to let you post, at your explicit direction, a clip you created in Clipwright to the TikTok account you connected, or send it to that account's TikTok inbox as a draft — one clip per click, never automatically, on a schedule or in bulk.
Drafts sent to your TikTok inbox
If you choose "Send to TikTok as a draft", we send TikTok only the clip itself. The title, privacy, comment/duet/stitch and commercial-content settings on the per-post screen are not sent with a draft; TikTok notifies you in the TikTok app, where you edit, choose those settings and post it yourself, or discard it. Nothing is published until you finish it in the TikTok app.
Storage and security
Your TikTok access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest, with the encryption key held outside the database, and are never written to logs or shown back to you or anyone else after the initial connect.
How the clip reaches TikTok
When you confirm a post or send a draft, we make that one clip available to TikTok at an unguessable web address that expires about two hours later; TikTok fetches the clip from that address. We do not publish the address anywhere else.
Retention and deletion
Tokens, your open_id and the granted permissions are kept only while your TikTok account stays
connected. If you disconnect from the Clipwright dashboard, we ask TikTok to revoke the token and
delete them at the same time. If you instead remove Clipwright in
TikTok's own settings, TikTok revokes our access; we detect that at our next scheduled token refresh
(at least once a day) and delete the stored data then. Either way it is deleted within 30 days.
Per-post audit records (which clip, whether it was a post or a draft, which settings, the publish
ID and status) are kept as the
record of what you authorised, on the same retention terms as the rights-decision audit trail
described above.
No sale, no third-party sharing
We do not sell TikTok account data or post data, and we do not share it with anyone except TikTok itself (to make the post or draft you requested) and as required by law.
Music and branded content
Posts you make through Clipwright are subject to TikTok's own Music Usage Confirmation and, where you mark a post as branded content, TikTok's Branded Content Policy. The per-post screen shows you the exact consent text that applies before you post, and posting constitutes your agreement to it with TikTok, not with us.
TikTok's own policies apply
TikTok's handling of data once we send your post to TikTok, and of your account generally, is governed by TikTok's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which we do not control.
Children
Clipwright is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information; if you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and encryption at rest for account access tokens. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you as the law requires if a breach affects your personal information.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookie needed to keep you logged in. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

We will post changes here and update the date above, and email account holders before a material change takes effect. Questions: privacy@eliteaiempire.com, or by post to Elite AI Holdings LLC, 2010 El Camino Real #2000, Santa Clara, CA 95050, USA.
